Polychrome Glass and Brass Table Lamp, Italy, 1980s

A precious luminaire straight from Italy: this vintage lamp captures light like a true work of design art. Its frosted glass shade with a green gradient, topped with a turquoise sphere, diffuses a soft and enveloping glow. Combined with a gilded brass base and colorful blown glass elements in pink, cobalt blue, and emerald green, it follows in the tradition of Murano creations by great master glassmakers such as Barovier & Toso or Seguso. A rare and sculptural piece, typical of the decorative aesthetic of the 80s, between Memphis exuberance and Hollywood Regency elegance.
