Vintage Italian Murano Glass Tray by Albatros, 1970s

A rare Murano glass piece made in Italy in the 1970s and attributed to the Albatros glassworks, known for its colorful modernist blown glass creations. The tray combines a smooth transparent glass rim with a central textured glass surface, often referred to as frosted or sandblasted glass, creating a delicate and diffused light effect. The colored glass appliques, deep blue, raspberry pink, and translucent green, already evoke the avant-garde chromatic play and graphic contrasts of the Memphis Design movement, combining geometry and color.

The original "Vetro di Murano, Made in Italy" sticker is preserved and confirms its provenance. The set is in excellent condition, with no chips, and perfectly preserved transparency and color.
