Ivory lacquered and caned chairs, in the style of Mario Sabot, 70s
Free shipping on orders over €200.00
Set of 4 vintage chairs in ivory lacquered wood, with caned seats and backs, dating from the 70s.
In the seventies, caning was in vogue in furniture: it brought a discreet relief and natural lightness reminiscent of organic materials such as wood, bamboo or rattan. Here, it is framed by a sleek lacquered structure with rounded, ultra-chic corners.
The proportions, the uprights, the inclined backrest and the frame evoke the spirit of certain dining room sets attributed to Mario Sabot.
