70s Palm Tree Table Lamp

Superb sculptural palm tree lamp from the 70s, in the exotic and theatrical spirit of Spanish designer Lopez Torres. Its sculpted wooden plant-like silhouette rests on a curved base, and the trunk is adorned with decorative braiding that evokes natural fibers.

Three globe bulbs blossom in the heart of the golden foliage, diffusing a warm and enveloping light. Two leaves are missing from the original composition, but this absence only accentuates its raw and singular look — between tropical sculpture and vintage icon.

A rare piece, to be placed in a pastel Palm Springs decor, or to bring a sunny touch to an interior inspired by Californian sunsets of the seventies.
