Murano floral lamp in brass and flecked pink glass, Italy, 1970s
Free shipping on orders over €200.00
Superb Italian floral lamp from the 70s, of rare elegance and poetry, combining the warmth of gilded brass with the pastel transparency of Murano blown glass.
Each corolla was crafted using the ancestral know-how of Venetian master glassmakers: mouth-blowing, which allows for unique volumes.
The speckled pink pattern is created by incorporating colored powders into the molten glass, before being coated with a crystalline layer called "sommerso", characteristic of Murano workshops.
Under the light, the glass takes on an almost liquid depth, oscillating between transparency and opalescence, an emblematic effect of Italian floral productions from the seventies.
The polished brass stem and base highlight the refinement of this creation, between Hollywood Regency influence and Venetian poetry.
A true jewel of light, this Fiori lamp, available in two copies, will gently adorn a living room or bedside tables. It pairs wonderfully with our Art Deco brass and glass dressing table from the 80s.
