This zig-zag profile lamp base, known today as a "squiggle lamp," is one of the most iconic objects of mainstream postmodern design from the 80s. Produced by Habitat at a time when the English brand was imposing its irreverent forms in European interiors, this "Zebra" model retains its original label with the price in francs, proof of its authenticity. The vivid pink lacquer, applied later, enhances the Memphis and Palm Springs character of the piece. The pleated green lampshade, vintage from the same era, forms a bold and perfectly on-trend chromatic agreement with the base.
