Magnificent vintage 1940s Fire-King set, by the American manufacturer Anchor Hocking, which produced this brand of glassware (in the Pyrex style) for restaurants and the army from the 1940s to the 1960s. This pearly orange set, stamped "Fireking" made in USA in relief, is composed of 6 large cups and their saucers, a milk jug, and a sugar bowl. This tableware is characterized by its iridescent opal and its organic lines evoking the shapes of a seashell: an absolutely splendid collector's set!
